Led a team of five student analysts in which we:

  • Conducted equity research on Opus Bank (Ticker: OPB) with the task of providing an investment recommendation and 12-month target price.

  • Analyzed the composition of target company loan portfolio to determine credit risk and exposure to potential charge-offs.

  • Valued the equity portion of the target company by building a discounted cash flow to equity model (FCFE) and using comparable company multiples.
